Hi there my fellow chook owners, I want to see some coops and what is the best thing about them. I was thinking of of splitting my coop right down the middle and separating my meat birds from my egg layers, but I need some ideas, so start squaking. :bun

Here is my coop i can get better pictures. I took this picture in the middle of winter.

Where are you located and how many chickens do you have?

Climate matters tremendously. My Neuchickenstein (no coop page yet, but here's the build thread: https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/large-open-air-coop-in-central-nc.1443812/ and featured in my hot climate article: https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/hot-climate-chicken-housing-and-care.77263/ is perfect for people in hot climates but is wildly unsuited for severe winters. :)

This is my first coop: https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/the-little-monitor-coop.76275/

This is my brooder: https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/run-to-outdoor-brooder-conversion.76634/

And this is the current project: https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/camp-cockerel.1532487/

My coop is in our fenced in garden, our ducks have free range of the garden for now because the garden beds are in raised planters. We are in an urban setting.
