Lethargic, (Dehydrated...?) d’Uccle! Please Help!

Not a dumb question at all! The crop is on the right front of your chick. If you gently move your hand down her breast you should feel a "lump" if she has been eating. Sometimes it's good to feel the other chicks so you can get a good comparison.

The crop is essentially a "bag" or "pouch" that holds food/water which is then moved into the stomach.

Compared to one of the other chicks her crop felt medium full. Like there was stuff in it, but not as obvious as the other chick.

Anything helps, thank you so much for everything so far, I'm just desperate and you are the only people I can turn to to make sure she gets through the night.

I would get some water into her, make sure she is warm and let her settle/rest for a while.

Thanks I just gave her beak one last dip, made sure she swallowed, then I put her to bed. I'll check to see how she is tomorrow and keep you updated! Thanks for your help!

She is great! Eating and drinking on her own and she pooped too! White and watery, but no blood!!! She still sleeps a lot, but is more active and her feathers aren’t as ruffled!

So overall, getting better!

Unfortunately no it was a busy day... I feel really bad, but she is doing better by a landslide!
