Lethargic for 2 days/diarrhea

OH..never mind. I just clicked on the link explaining how to de-worm a chicken using horse de-wormer. So it would be roughly 1ml. TYVM.

I have a question re: the safeguard de-wormer. They didn't have the liquid so I had to buy the paste. The paste is in grams not ml. Does anyone know how many grams or mg I should administer to treat a 5 lb chicken?
I weighed 1ml of paste and it weighs 1 gram, so 1ml of the paste is the same as 1ml of the liquid, both have 100mg of fenbendazole.

From left to right:
Small = 10mg ( .1cc) = enough for a 200 gram (7 ounce) bird at 50mg/kg
Medium = 25mg (.25cc) = enough for a 500 gram (17 ounce) bird at 50mg/kg
Large = 50mg ( .5cc) = enough for a 1000 gram (35 ounce) bird at 50mg/kg
50 mg/kg is what my vets recommended.

tell me what you think of it. :) It's not finished yet...
The bit on blackhead is misleading, not all blackhead cases will have yellow poop and the treatment you listed isn't very accurate. For example, how much medicine would you give to a 100 gram chick or quail?

Coccidiosis lists just white poop, but many will tell you that it is not always white. Treatments should list all know drugs.

Don't get me wrong, you're braver than I am for attempting to do something like it, I just think it needs to be *very* accurate.

You list Baytril 2.5%, but the 10% is much easier for most to get, so maybe list the dose in mg/kg instead? FYI, liquid Baytril comes in many strengths - 2.27%. 2.5%, 5% and 10%. Dose for birds should be something like 10mg/kg twice a day or 15mg-20mg once a day, that's what my vets have told me to use.
