Lethargic hen, open mouth breathing, her whole body moves when she breaths

The proportions are two teaspoons per gallon of water given five days, a week off, then five more days to catch any oocytes that have developed into coccidia. Your dosage for the drench is correct. But some chickens go on to develop a bacteria infection on top of the coccidiosis. This bacteria eat the intestinal lining along with the coccidia. It can be fatal. Sulfa can often turn this around if caught in time.

So I should try to get Sulfa from a vet and/or Corid

Sulfa is in addition to Corid, not and/or.

Corid treats the coccidia parasites. Sulfa treats the bacteria, which could be any type, but usually, E.coli or strep.

They are two different meds. Corid blocks vitamin B-1 thiamine that the parasites feed on. Sulfa kills bacteria but doesn't kill coccidia. An antibiotic doesn't kill coccidia.

Ok

So it’s very rainy today and they prefer puddles over their Corid water but I was looking around in my coop and I think I found the problem, Worms! I have safeguard dewormer but don’t know the dosage or if you give it in there water or into their mouth? Also can I put Corid and safeguard in the same waterer?

I went out today and Willow the hen who is breathing bad is still shaking every time she breaths. Her tail bobs and her wings shake. I found possibly another type of worm in poop because there are lots of little brown stringy ones but I didn’t see any white ones this morning. Willow keeps trying to poop like she wants to poop something out but only a Tiny little poop comes out. Her backend is very poopy and I’m going to try to clean it with a wipe today. Her backend also smells really bad which could be the poop but I can’t smell it from a few feet away. I’m also going to be cleaning the coop today.
