Wow. Just wow. See mine are just silly little nuisances. Nothing dangerous, for the most part.
We have another woman two doors down. When we moved into the neighborhoodd 7 years ago there it was a beauitful house.
Nicely kept, landscaped. Woman ran in in home daycare out of it. Well. It went on the market after husband came home one day to find wife in bed with a daycare dad. (mom had picked up her kids and also taken the daycare providers kids because they were all friends.)
It was on the market for 6 months and it didnt get a lot of "looks" Until one day a family pulled up with the realtor and soon enough a moving van pulled in and unloaded. Then the "strange" began.
It wasnt a fmaily. It is one woman. Probably in her 40s.
she hasnt mowed her lawn in the nearly 3 years she has been there. One of the first things she did was put up an arch on the front walk. It leans. Noticeably. I keep telling DH that I am going to just pull it over some night. He says he is going to fix it for her:/
My direct neighbors, the ones that were vacuuming their driveway because of the grass clippings. Are HER direct neighbors as well. So they have taken to mowing the half of her yard that abuts theirs. I think i saw her trimming the shrub the other day as well.. but only one side of it

Then there is a pool. Like I said BEAUTIFUL house etc. Had a pool and a nice deck. She didnt want the pool so she let it sit there half empty for 2 years. GOD it was awful. The smell of the stagnant water. And I am a door away! Then she had someone come in and take it down. Shortly after a green house went in. Which still stands empty BTW. I think she had told someone she was going to grow Orchids. But it is glass, so the glare off the thing is terrible. She has solar lights all over the back yard, which she doesnt use BTW. She told one neighbor that she had 7 indoor cats. Recently told another she has none. She had 2 Macaws. Used to be able to hear them squack 24/7 during the warmer months. Nothing ths year. Are they alive? No clue.
She brought a dog home one day. BIG dog that she can barely walk. Used to take it for walks twice a day(she worked from home or something. One day she decided to just let it loose in the neighborhood. I was in the back yard with my daughter and it came up in the neighbors drive. And stood there watching us. Not panting, not wagging it tail. Not growling either.Just stood there staring. Dog is as freaky as the woman. One dayanother neighbor caught it in his yard and walked it back overto herhouse. He knocked on her front door. Knocked on the windows. She wouldnt come to the door. so he opened the gate and put the dog in the back yard. After that she took to tying it out back on a short leash. And didnt clean it's poo or pee up. So another neighbor complained. Dog officer showed up(I didnt even know we still had one in the city!) Again she wouldnt answer the door. So he left a notice on her door. After he left she came out and got it. Her house GLOWS all the time as well. She has a fish tank or reptile tank in EVERY ROOM. I cna only imagine the smell in there.
One neighbors cat went missing. Another showed up half dead on the front steps of their house. We all still think she put out poisoned food.
She was walking by last week and i had our dog out with us on the porch. He began barking at her and she looks at me and says "Is that your dog?" me "Yes" She laughed and kept walking. I mean really. She has lived here 3 years now. Our dog is out daily. He barks. Why ask if he is OURS? I should have said "No. He just showed up here and I decided to keep him"
Oh. her little car is no longer in her driveway. I have seen her at the commuter rail station at night(8pm) taking the train inbound to Boston(there is no outbound, where we are is the last stop) Yet she told another neighbor she works in a town further west than us. Ah ha. No idea when the last time she washed her hair was. Clothes that match. Ya know. pink flowered shirt, with pink pants.Blue shirt with nearly the same shade of blue.
I think her family wanted her gone, so they set her up here and are paying the bills etc for her. Honestly.. if it keeps up I am going to call social services and have them come and "check" on her. She just isnt "right" I can just imagine the inside of the house being in squalor. Probably dead animals in htere too.
