Pete, I tried booting my grey dewlap girl off her nest yesterday and she put up such a valiant fight that I decided I needed my hubby's help. So, we will be doing the dirty deed today. I planned to nail boards over entrance of nest. Should I put a portable nesting box nearby as the other dewlap girl was still laying regularly in the broody's nest? Also, I had that yard cross-fenced to separate my 4-pack of dewlaps from my production Toulouse pair, but I removed cross fence a few days ago because the production girl also went 100% broody last week in her igloo, and I decided to not take any more eggs from that yard. Should I take my production girl's eggs and relocate her igloo today too?
