Let's have a gosling hatchalong!

Congrats on your hatchlings, and get Gossyzilla a pair of Binoculars.

If i could find some small enough to fit her head lol maybe Swipe some from a Barbie doll, im sure Dixie would like pink lol

9 have hatched now. #10 & #11 are working on comin out. So far 8 white and 1 brown. I have 2 more chances for another brown. It doesnt matter as long as they are healthy.

Hi guys! I have another mystery, but this time it's a duck mystery. But in involves cute baby pics, so I'm posting it here, too. (already posted in Welsh Harlequin forum).

If you're a goose only person, you can just skip to the next post and forgive this one.

These are my latest babies from the incubator. They are from my WH trio, and were definitely not Muscovy eggs. I only have 7 adult birds, 3 WH, 2 Muscovy drakes, and 2 Muscovy hens. I do not have any mature Rouens or Mallards. This is what hatched from my WH hen's nest:

The one on the right looks just like a WH should. The one in the middle looks like a Khaki Campbell, which makes some sense since WH is a color variant. But the one on the left looks just like a Rouen or Mallard!

I must have mutant ducks or something. This is my very first hatch from this trio. They were given to me and the guy had no information about them at all.

Here's my WH trio, Drake, Goldie, and Bluebell:

Between the gray Embden and now the rainbow laying WH, I can't wait to see what comes out of the incubator next.

That is so cute, Do you think a Wild Mallard stopped by one day when you weren't looking? It's a mystery.

This is the last 3. Two of these are backward pippers. I also have a backward out in the bator and another backward pip zipping. 4 wrong way pippers. These two eat and drink very well but im worried because they roll their heads around like they have no control. They also fall backwards. Will this stop? They seem healthy and i thought maybe it was because they had stiff necks from being cramped while hatching from the wrong end. Baby the hair lipped gosling was a wrong end pip he rolled his head he died but he had other problems also.

I have a color question.... this is my most recent African gosling hatchling. He/she is from a white goose and the gander is either a brown/white cross or brown. What color do you think it is splashed with? Brown, grey or buff?
