Hope everyone is Okay
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well my buff girl I left in the hatcher last night from Fritter..... IS doing good! I would not say great, because she still have some belly to absorb ~ but no YOLK!!! I am thrilled. I was not getting my hopes up & was prepared for her not to make it to this morning
But she is a strong little girl
I have 2 more prize trio eggs in LD & another Cracker (C'mon give me a white goosie!!!)
My cayugas are also hatching ~ wanting some blues
Thanks Utah for another box of eggs! When your geese stop laying, I am going to shut down the Master Bator too. I love hatching but my Petersime needs a break, oiling, preventative maintenance, and thorough cleaning!
If I need any babies, I can buy them from auction or CL. But I am VERY pleased with my hatching season. I hatched out of your Utah eggs ~ African 4 girls & 3 boys ~ Fritter 2 girls & 1 boy, and Trio 7 girls & 3 boys
I hatched out of my eggs ALOT LOT LOT of boys from my Sebbies ~ I only have 1 girl & 1 boy I kept. Sold 8 eggs on ebay, and sold another 8+ boys at auction!!! I have some more cooking so hopefully I can get another girl.
I have my lonely Pomeranian Boy & My lone American Buff girl I hatched out. But I cannot find a Pom girl or eggs to hatch, so I think I am going to have to sell him & try again next year for a pair. I bought 3 American buff eggs at auction last week & they WERE ALREADY DEVELOPED when I bought them!
& 1 was about to explode
I was not happy. I mean the people knew these were not freshly collected & had been under a broody!!! I would say they were at least 14+ days
I have all the babies I need after these
. I will fill my bator with cheap auction eggs just for fun, but won't set any more after this weekend. I think I can I think I can....
