Let's have a gosling hatchalong!

J you sure have had plenty of eggs laid but I do believe you keep sending your buffs to your friend who has hatched so many buffs from your dewlaps.

I have my latest pair of dewlap eggs in lockdown and they are looking good. Yay! Now it's time to play the waiting game for external pipping to see if beaks are buff or grey.

Also.... my girls just won't quit laying and I got 3 new eggs today after setting 8 eggs less than 3 days ago. Guess I'll be hatching into July. Anyone else hatching late into summer??
I will... I'm still getting eggs steady from the Embden girls and the odd ball egg from the dewlaps. However because of issues I've still not got a dewlap baby this year. As the boy and 2 of the girls are yearlings I'm not worried and we'll see how next year goes. Currently have Buff ducks, scovie and goose eggs in the bator.

Mine have slowed down, i think the young white chinese is still laying. One tufted has quit and the other went broody. Older white chinese went broody on chicken eggs. As soon as she gets up they are getting taken away.
I did confirm that one of my toulouse i hatched last year is a gander and named right. I saw his gander tool lol so im hoping Tori is a girl now. No eggs from her this year but she is developing goose features.

I do believe that all my girls are finished because we are now in molt... I have one diehard goose sitting on eggs but do not believe they will hatch. So I am calling it done laying and hatching for the year.

Hi all! I've been busy with kid stuff and haven't been on here much. Sounds like most of you are winding down. Me, too. I think my girl is done laying.

I had two eggs in the bator, but lost one Sunday. It pipped so fast overnight that I didn't get the humidity up in time and it shrink wrapped. Then last night I forgot the last egg on the counter and went to bed. I put it back in this morning and was surprised to see that it was still alive when I candled tonight! We'll see if it makes it all the way. It's going to be lonely if it does. My other goslings are much older and the little Americans are so busy! I'm afraid they would hurt a newly hatched gosling.
