I have heard it is not a good idea to try and hatch double yolkers on geese.But my gosh that is one huge egg!

I just put 18 eggs in the incubator today! Following Pete's "sticky" incubation guide, I am really really excited to see if we have fertile eggs!
 
If you have a good scale, by all means weigh the eggs. I also trace the air cell at least once a week in pencil so I can see the progress.

As to the yeast..no, food yeast will not work. It has to be brewers yeast. You can get it pretty reasonably online. I got it on Amazon last year, and their are a few horse websites that sell it by the 5 gallon bucket that are pretty inexpensive. A couple teaspoons each day sprinkled on top of the food will do the job.

Ruru- did you check for shadowing first? That is the one thing I think really might have made a difference here this time. In the past I may have drowned a few. :(
