Woke up this morning to 8 khakis and 2 chicks in the incubator, and at least two Embden eggs with pips. Today is day 28 for the ducks and geese, day 21 for the chicks.

She can't figure out why I spend any time talking to goslings when I could be playing with her *lol*
No recent pics -- she never slows down long enough to take one.

So the gosling that pipped yesterday had a big whole and had started to zip and started peeping like crazy. I went and looked with the flashlight it looked like there was a puddle of liquid in the egg. I took it out and sure enough, there was a bunch of yolk colored liquid all over the baby and a bunch in the egg. I took the top of the egg off and wiped the baby off with a paper towel but left it in the bottom half of the shell. Has anyone had this happen? Should I take the water out of my incubator and let it run dry for the rest of the eggs? It seems active and is loud, so hopefully it makes it. It is still leaking stuff from the shell.
