Let's have a gosling hatchalong!

Emus can also kill you - my mum got mauled a few years back - had bits off her everywhere. Thankfully she managed to get out of the area where the emu was or it might have been a lot worse as she was on her own.
That's a scary thought , glad she made it out without serious injury.

first grey dewlap of the year, (bobble head) who will be renamed shortly (poor thing when first hatched looked just like a bobble head figure.

Now he is all dry and up on his feet enjoy brooder time with the other goslings.

My Embdens (first ever goose hatch) should be hatching this Wednesday (or so). Got the hatching incubator all set up for them. We only have two incubators, so they are sharing with a dozen Khaki Campbells and two dozen chicken eggs, all of which are scheduled to hatch around Wednesday. Should make for an interesting week!

Still the only gosling I got...got a bunch of ducklings though!

Sorry only one goslings, but congrats on the ducklings! What kind?

I have my first attemt at hatching goslings in the bator now...10 days to go so far seem to be developing nice and I can see movement :)

Congrats and best of luck! What kind of goslings?

Yay for peeps and pips on time! I will be looking for baby pics in the next couple of days. :D

I've got peeping and at least two duck egg pips. I guess I'll go back and re-count in the morning. I set the Khaki Campbells and the Embdens on 2/27, and the chicken eggs on 3/5. Poultry math, yay!
