I'm just not feeling very confident about what is about to happen with this hatch. :/ This is my 1st time trying to hatch goose eggs in the incubator. I think I will need a "re-do".

Well we never learn unless we try, but hoping you get some from your experience. At least those outside sitting have the experience built in. Oh wait are they outside or in your house sitting? sorry couldn't resist. a lil humor

Well, it seems like a long time since I started this thread and have seen lots of cute hatchlings. Hopefully it will be my turn to share gosling pics by the weekend. My first three eggs are finally on day 27, with one frontrunner egg looking like it's in the process of internally pipping this morning.

Too funny! I love that. You got me on that.

They are outside Miss Lydia. But knowing me like you do, there is always a chance I may have them set up inside my house in the living room in front of the TV.

I have noticed that my geese that are setting always use sticks and twigs to make their nests. Does anyone have any geese that do the same thing? I have had to remove some of the sticks and twigs because they were TOO BIG! I was afraid that they would crack the eggs. Why do they do this? I always place lots of hay near their nests so they can use the hay but they prefer sticks and twigs.
