Let's have a gosling hatchalong!

Oh my! Lockdown tonight and already two external pips and at least one internal!

Now, I'm not counting my goslings before they hatch, but out of 13, that's a start.

Interestingly - the three pipping are the ones I started under a broody hen. The other 10 I put in the bator and I do see dancing in at least one, but it seems the hen-brooded are slightly ahead.

I'm SO excited! First gosling hatch! I have six pre-sold if they hatch. Anything after that is mine, all MINE

my lone Sebbie egg is on day 28 today, I moved it into the hatcher yesterday when we heard it peeping, and I saw shadowing above the air cell line. It's ext pipping now and when I talk to it and shine the flashlight on it, the egg rocks and it peeps at me softly...
Hoping I see this little bugger tonight and it has some color! So far, they all end up white and the 1st 3 who hatched look like last year's babies did too...
With only Sadie being colored (SB) I'm not sure if any babies can be colored...I think it depends on what the daddies carry under their white, right?
I love everyone's pics of their babies- but esp love those dark colored little babes. I'd love a blue Sebbie goose one of these days!

Now *that* is a beautiful set-up! Absolutely lovely and now I'll just have to recreate it somewhat at my house!! Great job!

Thanks ! We set it up last year with 2 rubbermaid cattle troughs/tubs ~ So much cheaper & sturdier than anything else we found, and they are really deep so the geese can dive & swish !
