Lets hear it for the LADIES who build their own coops!

Do they sell flitching at home stores, Lowe's? I would have to drive about 5 or 6 hours to get anywhere near a sawmill. We have tons of scraggly mesquite trees though. Wonder what I could do with those???

My hubby is the only person I have to help me out with anything. So everything is a joint deal. I come up with something crazy, he figures the technical junk to make it work, then we put it together. Great team work!!!

For two thirds of my carrer, I worked for the handiest person I know.....and she has always impressed me. She now runs a website called Ask Andrea and hails herself as "the handyman with hips". She has authored her first book - "If I Had a Hammer" and also does a radio show which features all kinds of experts. Visit:

http://www.askandrea.com

And tell her Dr. Doorlock sent you.

Here's a quote from ME:

Handiness has no gender!

The watering system didn't work so well in the winter, so we went with the soda bottle waterers. I have two sets, and while they're drinking out of one set, the other is thawing. Here's the site I get them from. Cheaper than some of the hatcheries.
