i'm already there, my current brooder is a fax paper box with a hole cut in the lid with hardware cloth over it.... one day it will be a proper high capacity brooder.... one day...

I think I mentioned I had 64 but I added 8 more cos I needed the eggs jam packed to get the eggs to turn on themselves.

Then I lost one somehow like the inner skin of the egg suck pulled itself inside but it was one of the eggs I washed.

That's called shrink wrapping. Check your humidity levels , probably too low;-)
