Hello everyone! I first joined this forum because of an issue I have with one of my chicks, but now I am here to share my excitement with everyone else!
I am a first-time chicken owner and want your opinions on a couple of things!

I know what 7 of my 8 chicks are. They range from .5 weeks old to 1.5 weeks. Can you guess the breed of each?
I also have a favor to ask... Help me think of names for each! I'm drawing blanks except for funny names like egg head and omelet.

I don't think that I know any of the breeds, but for names:
1st one: Whitecap or Yuki ("snow" in Japanese)
2nd one: Cola or Espresso (or, alternately, Decaff)
3rd one: Shade or Eclipse
4th one: Chaff or Toast (or, heck, Paska) or Zapraska (Slovak for "roux")
5th one: Caraway or Pepper
6th one: Bleu (don't ask me why I'm thinking of bleu cheese, I don't know) or Speck
7th one: Snowdrop or Hyacinth
8th one: Marble or Tux
These are just some name ideas that I have. I actually have a rooster named Zapraska, so I guess that that's why I put that one in!

Yes they are all from a hatchery. Like i said though, they are ranging from a half a week to 1.5 weeks old.

Wow Gray Farms, you got almost all of them correct!!!

There are 2 that you got wrong (or maybe not if the hatchery mixed up the chicks).

The 8th chicken is a mystery to me. It was a surprise in the shipment so your guess is as good as mine.

Does anyone have any names? Can I get more guesses??

2nd one hits me as Smiles or Smiley, just looks like a cheerful lil kid
3rd one, Fronz or Frond
4th one looks like a classic Muffin or Muffie heheh
5th one, something like Chirp or Chip or Chippy
6th one, Angel or Angie, something with Ang-
7th one, Effie or Idgie
8th one, Argyle, Gargoyle, maybe even plain Lyle
