Okay to get 3 inches of snow tonight. Right now temp is 16 withh windchill of -6. The windchill is to be -14 with temp 7 tonight. I'm gonna get under my electric blanket!!!:

My sister just had her first baby an hour ago and I'm stuck here...they've already closed down some of the roads in Lafayette, IN. where she is. Hopefully I'll be able to get out there Thurs. or Fri.

Just made the trek out to put the big girls to bed. Snow in the coop! It's blowing round the door frame. So far, just a 1/8 inch near the door. Not a thing I can do right now. The girls are all up on their roosts and away from the drafty door. There is 54 of them, so they can snuggle.

DO NOT GO OUTSIDE!!! The wind sucks the breath right out of the lungs!!!!
