lets see the "ugly" coops plz

Here's mine. Its rustic. I paid about $ 30.00 for door hardward, but the rest of the stuff was in piles laying around the property when we bought it including some old doors that I took the hardware off of. Never thought I would be happy to buy property with junk piles all over it.

These are my breeder pens

These are my broody boxs. I can divide them into 4 and can section off the bottom for more if need be.

Behind these is my green house with a lean to hen house and 4 more pens. I love the rustic look.

i had an ugly coop that a storm rip the roof off of this spring so my hubby and i desided since i'm so good at chicken math we needed a bigger coop. YAY that was May it is now Sept and the walls are up but thats it.
so this summer they lived in a tent. a tarp nailed to some 2x4s with a 100yr old nesting boxes on an old table frame. this is before the tarp

I'm sorry but I had to laugh at what he said. He is so silly !!!!

Im thinking joebryant's coop must be a castle. And that he's popular at parties. This *is* the ugly coop thread, correct?

It is solid enough that it will last more than a couple years, in spite of the slight lean. It is safe. It is watertight. It is 9' x 11' in the area the chickens occupy, and I only have 4 chickens so it's plenty roomy enough. What more could a person want? Beautiful coops don't go in this thread.

So if I win, I wants cookies
