lets see the "ugly" coops plz

This is more of a tractor that my husband built out of a piece of metal that was cut off a utility trailer. It is made out of angle iron and expanded metal, and is very heavy, but can still be moved around. The covered part is just plywood, and we have a roost inside. It's more or less for older chicks and banties to be safe outside. I've also used it for rabbits as well.

Yes, but that metal used to be black, it's all rust now. lol I guess one day I'll paint it, but I guess it kind of matches everything else around here.

I'd say that's as close to predator-proof as a tractor can get - really cool!

Thanks it is very useful and it was almost free since DH works at a welding and trailer place, so even better.

I was going through this waiting to see a really bad coop... Nothing looks terrible! My coop is an old run in shed we had for the horses, then got a bigger one, so recycled this one for the chickens... It's not bad, but could really use some paint - wood and horses just don't mix sometimes (even though they don't chew on anything else, they just can't keep their lips (and teeth) off my sheds!!!)

This is when we first put the "shoop" (shed and coop all rolled into one - bad humor I know

in the new spot. Either way, it still needs to be re-painted

Always wanted to do something with this... But it's just too small despite it being a "2 seater" (Yes, it has a large seat and a small seat inside!).

And really, this was the first goat house we had at our old house... 2 tarps, a few posts, and some plywood... Cheap, easy to fix, and they loved it - doesn't get any better than that!
