Lets see the wildest wall color in your house...

I spent weeks painting our walls with a small sponge the size of my hand. The colors are Taffeta Tan and Plaster Pink. Alone they are odd, but sponged on in layers they made this very soft suede look.

What I love about it is that it changes greatly with the type and amount of light in the room:

(DH designed the columns/shelf and night-light. I made the sun for the night-light. At night when lit, the light shines out around the rays of the sun)

thanks Ang... the room looks way different now - the remodeling is completed. I couldn't find any more recent photos. I think they are somewhere in the 8 rolls of film I have yet to develop. That's why I am so desperate for a digital camera!!!

If you look carefully at the inside of the windowsill, you can see the color of the kitchen (which adjoined the pea-green hearthroom) before we put the terra-cotta in there--[b :

That purple looks pretty! LOL, you must think I have weird tastes, but I like it.​

I dont have a pic, but one wall in my bedroom is completely covered in beige-toned cheeta print.

I'm pretty much an eggshell white weall girl except my kitchen. The color there isn't very exciting but I do like my ceiling!

Our kitchen backsplash is done in silver ceiling tile. It rocks... everyone who sees it says it's amazing. I don't know if I have any pictures of it developed yet... This is really giving me incentive to get those rolls of film to the store!
