and it's not even my birthday!!!!
 
Is it possible for my light colored doeling to have sunburnt ears? She has cracked dry slightly red skin on her ears and the very top of her head. None of my other goats are exhibiting this and this is only in those places on her body....

Yup, my gelding gets sunburn on his blaze and it starts to scab over. I have to keep a long fly mask on him.
 
Yallllllllll, I have put my nigerian dwarf doe in with the buck I am borrowing every day for a month. I have not seen her go in to heat or seen them hint towards mating. I even left them overnight in hopes of them just being picky and no signs of her being bred. Help?
 
I do not know about Nigerians, but standard dairy goats are seasonal breeders. The breeding season is about September through February. I have bred does as early as August and as late as March but that is not something I could count on. Pygmies often breed all year but I have no idea if that is true for Nigerians or not. After your doe is bred you will usually see a whitish discharge.
