Hey guys! Do any of you give toys to your goats?
I caught my young alpine goat with an empty gravel bag in her mouth, waving it around like a toy. Of course I took it away from her, but I felt like maybe she would enjoy something proper to play with.
Do you think a smaller sized Jolly Ball like they make for horses would be a good idea?

Emm...i give mine toys they can climb!! But they do like it when thye are in the yard they play with the soccer ball so they should like the ball!!!

Oh yea- climbing! I'm slowly amassing wood pallets so I can try and build a play ground like I saw photos of on this thread

But more fun is always welcome. A soccer ball? Hmmmm... Yeah. I think I'm going to get a ball for them!
 
Goats are a future endeavor for me (meat). I have a few projects to get through first. Finishing my coop project for the 22 birds coming May 4 comes to mind. Then after that my wife's green house aquaponics project, some ducks, and then goats.

My question is simple. When it comes to milk, I know TB can be passed along to the offspring and if consumed by humans, to humans as well.

How do you insure your goats don't have TB. I would assume it would infect more than just the milk.
