is your avatar an australorpington? Or sometimes called a buffalorp? Thanks for the reply - that's great to know! My BCM's are acceptable layers, so I was surprised that my hatchery cuckoos weren't.

Best of Luck to you at the show!We are trying to get things line up to leave for the Bluebonnet Classic Poultry Show in College Station, Texas tomorrow afternoon. We should arrive in College Station early tomorrow evening. The unloading and cooping in can get a little confusing, but life gets better when it is done. We only show Marans, but we will be showing six or seven varieties at this show.
The show will be on Saturday. If anyone is planning on being there, please look us up. We would love to meet you and have a chance to visit face to face.
We hope that the weather is nice. We pray that everyone has a great show and safe travel to and from the show.
Regards,

Thanks for the well wishes. It was a great show put on by a great group of people. We always enjoy the Bluebonnet Classic. We got home too late last night to post results. We haul our birds in an enclosed trailer with show coops mounted to the walls. Last night when we got home, the chickens at home and on the trailer were already asleep. I decided to let them sleep until this morning rather than wake up the neighborhood unloading chickens.Best of Luck to you at the show!
