Let's talk Golden Cuckoo Marans!

I can see she haven t got the colored hackle but she have a  lot other quality stand for her except the comb need work ( the comb is inherited from manly from the hen ).

how much does she weight my friend . look to be she passed a 3KG .

Unfortunately guessing weight is something I'm horrible at. She is almost the size as our buff orpingtons.

I would say the orps are big. She is average or slightly larger hen sized. I've been selecting for larger roosters and I'm guessing the hens are getting larger. I've got a few more pics of the single barred that I'm keeping. He is huge too. The double barred guy is undersized and will be going.

This is the F0 rooster. He dwarfs the hens. I've noticed that he has a little difficulty mounting the hens. The F2 single barred pictured above is the same size as him. The F2 double barred is about 2/3 the size of both larger ones.

I've got another younger single barred cockeral that has a pretty good comb. I'm guessing he's around 4 months and the size of the hens.

this eggs I did send them to a friend of mine ( swapped with duck eggs ) 21 hatched out of 24 .

you can see a lot Blue cuckoos .

You certainly did get a lot of blue cuckoos. Good ratio there
