You know what? This particular hen is famous for digging up these little white larva. It's all she does out there! I don't know what they are but she eats them a LOT! I think you have figured this out for me, thank you so much!!

Now...what to do about it?

Thanks Mary! Shes my baby, a 4 year old Barred Rock that LOVES to snuggle on my lap. She pouts if she doesn't get her love tank filled on my lap at least once a day. LOL I will just keep treating her as needed, and with a bit of this when I see her eating these larva.
