Lewiston, MAINE TSC Farm swap- July 21st, 2012

i have a friend that wants 8 more standard breed hens to add too his flock. they dont have to be laying yet. he wanted me to pick him up some at the swaps either lewiston or augusta if anyone will have any available at lewiston this saturday or agusta next saturday let me know what you have and how much you are asking for them thanks.

Does anyone have splash, blue, or lavender Orpington pullets available? I'd love to get one or two "fancy" ones to add to the flock! Coop-ready only, I'm done with the mess of a brooder for this year! Pet quality is fine, we don't show them. We're about an hour from Lewiston, but if I know someone will have these we'll make the trip!

I have some New Hampshire Reds that are 12 weeks old I would let go for $75 for 8. These I believe are all hens although I am beginning to wonder if I don't have a rooster also.

Hey Polly, someone that I know is coming to the swap is looking for some chickens too. If you bring them, I am SURE that you could sell them!

I will probably be there although I don't have to much to sell, just sold 10 younger birds this afternoon. I may bring some of Hatties stock. She has a bunch of birds that are about 6 weeks all pure bred and all pullets. She also has about 50 bantam birds of various kinds. I have a Dorking rooster that is a spare will probably bring him.

1 pr of white silkies, hen is trying to brood.
3 white silkie pullets
1 blue laced red wyandotte cockeral
1 white frizzled cochin bantam cockeral
several blacks and blue orpington pullets and cockerals
1 blue americauna/easter egger pullet- green egglayer

editted to add: 2 slate turkeys good sized and 1 blue silkie pullet and blue cockeral if not picked up prior.

and if anyone is interested in larger cockerals, these will only be brought if space available or taken for sure- otherwise monday they go to auction. $5 each
blue laced/barred wyandotte and blue carrying blue laced red and lavender gene orpington, and one small black wyandotte cockeral.

anybody have directions to where this is, not that familiar to lewiston.

Hi Bobbi, How are you doing ? If you started from Augusta and took western ave. It will take from Augusta thru winthrop right into Lewiston . When you come into the town as to say of Lewiston Central Maine Medical Hospital will be on your right go by it , you want to take a left onto 196, which is not far from the hospital. it will be 196 towards Lisbon , once you are on 196, Tractor supply will be on your right. hope this helps.

I think I am going to this swap, I am checking out what I want to bring, which I think is going to be a 3 month buff silkie roo, and some 12 week blue silkies. hopefully I can get everything ready in time.

pullets will be $15 each, cockerals $5 or better with a pullet.
