LG still air LOCKDOWN - humidity too low??

I also have an LG still air and every one of my eggs that I put into lockdown last time ended up hatching. I kept the humidity at 40-50% on thru day 18 (as instructed by other BYC members), then put wet paper towels in there to get it up to 70% for the last 3 days. Good luck!

It looked like the chick was going to make it. It was chirping and really struggling to get out of the shell, but it's not moving anymore

This is really sad!! There are 10 more in there and nothing is happening with them. We are now in the middle of day 22. I'm not giving up on them yet.

It may not be moving because it needs to rest.

I use paper towels in a small bowl in mine and wet them on the 18th day. Then I use a hose that's for a fish tank and a small bottle I got at Wal Mart. It's a travel bottle, it has nothing in it when you buy it. I put water in the bottle and hook the hose to it then I can put the hose in the top of the bator to add water right into the bowl and you don't need to open it.

Give them a couple of more days. If you temp went down they may be coming late. Good luck. Sending good vibes your way.

My husband just went home and checked...the chick died

nothing is happening with the other eggs, YET!!
