LGBT chickens? Is this possible?

I don't believe for a minute that a hen can change sex or fertilize eggs.
They may take on rooster like behaviors and even rooster traits but they don't lose their female parts and grow male parts.
Also don't believe in homosexual, bisexual or transgender chickens.
Now days lots of people want to support the LGBT movement so of course some are gonna try to put their animals in the movement too.

I just foud some LGBT chick!!!

In regards to animals having a choice, they most certainly do. My dogs choose to go into their kennels when I ask them. They could choose to not do it and I would have to forcibly put them there. They choose to go outside when I offer the opportunity, or they don't. That is also a choice. If animals are driven by instinct and don't have the higher cognitive reasoning to make conscious choices in regards to mating and relationships with other member of their species (and sometimes with members that are not) there are countless examples to refute that statement. Dolphins for example, mate for the purpose of reproduction as well as pleasure, as do some species of apes. Sea otter males make the decision to kidnap sea otter pups from their mothers. The pups are then ransomed, often held underwater until the female gives up her food to save her offspring. They have also been observed forcing themselves on females during their breeding season, even when females vigorously resist mating. When this occurs males hold the female's head underwater to subdue her resulting in some females drowning. The males still attempt to mate with dead females. They also pursue other species, such as harbor seal pups. The act is so violent the pup often dies. The male otter has been observed to keep the dead body for up to a week after killing the pup, breeding with it multiple times throughout the day.

"Homosexual behavior in animals is sexual behavior among non-human species that is interpreted as homosexual or bisexual. This may include same-sex sexual activity, courtship, affection, pair bonding, and parenting among same-sex animal pairs. Various forms of this are found in every major geographic region and every major animal group. The sexual behavior of non-human animals takes many different forms, even within the same species, though homosexual behavior is best known from social species.

Scientists perceive homosexual behavior in animals to different degrees. The motivations for and implications of these behaviors have yet to be fully understood. According to Bruce Bagemihl, the animal kingdom engages in homosexual behavior "with much greater sexual diversity – including homosexual, bisexual and nonreproductive sex – than the scientific community and society at large have previously been willing to accept." Bagemihl adds, however, that this is "necessarily an account of human interpretations of these phenomena". Simon LeVay stated that "although homosexual behavior is very common in the animal world, it seems to be very uncommon that individual animals have a long-lasting predisposition to engage in such behavior to the exclusion of heterosexual activities. Thus, a homosexual orientation, if one can speak of such thing in animals, seems to be a rarity." One species in which exclusive homosexual orientation occurs, however, is that of domesticated sheep (Ovis aries). "About 10% of rams (males), refuse to mate with ewes (females) but do readily mate with other rams."

According to Bagemihl (1999), same-sex behavior (comprising courtship, sexual, pair-bonding, and parental activities) has been documented in over 450 species of animals worldwide."

There are countless peer-reviewed, scientific studies to back that up. I'm not about to start quoting and linking a lot of articles but this older yet still educational video may be of some assistance:

I cannot for the life of me find the research article to link that concerns the science behind love and attraction. It referenced some really interesting articles involving hormones, neurotransmitters, scents, etc. and studies ranged from human participants to mice. The human study was fascinating. They presented heterosexual and homosexual individuals with t-shirts worn by the same and opposite sex including their siblings. I don't remember the exact percentage but a vast majority of the time the participants were repulsed by the shirts worn by siblings and showed arousal to the shirts worn by unrelated individuals and of the corresponding sex when appropriate.

To the OP, I personally had two Black Penedesencas that when they were cockerels bred each other frequently. As adults they bred with one another and the hens. I don't know of any studies or scientific observations of chickens or other domesticated poultry engaging in same-sex pairing, but it has been documented in countless bird species, over 130 in fact.

Just a reminder to everyone that this platform has a very strict zero tolerance policy for discrimination and bullying of anyone based on religous beliefs, race, sexual orientation, nationality, gender identity, etc.

Also a note that if you are going to be making claims you should have supporting evidence, as Colt has so exemplified.

Another note, Bonobos are known for having same gender sex and sex between young and adults. That is definitely a conscious choice.
