Q is also questioning. There is nothing wrong with reclaiming a word
But is questioning actually part of the community? Isn’t every female (or girl) aged 12-20 is questioning?
You don’t have to agree with my opinion btw, it’s your choice of course.

What I mean is, many of us don’t like to be called that. Especially where queermos is an actual slur used daily.

OK, then don't use it. No one is forcing you to. Q is there for the folks that are questioning, and for the folks (such as myself) who do feel comfortable using it. It's also there for the folks that don't like putting specific labels on them

Ok mate, and so I received my answer. The Q+ will stay and I’m gonna have to deal with it like a man.

Yes, they are. I don't believe every female is questioning, and also why only females?

If this is your way of saying you're part of the community, then welcome. I don't want this corner of BYC to feel unwelcoming, but it really does help a lot of people to see the Q

Small question as a Greek who has only visited NYC. Why does Google say the name of the island is Mackinac?
Mackinaw is an actual town near the bridge to the Upper Peninsula and Mackinac is the Island, however they are both pronounced "Mack-in-awe. Supposedly the town wanted to distinguish itself from the island.
