What a beautiful group of birds. :love Cruella is her lovely self and babies and growing! :)

Momma knows when it's time to start roosting, she must feel one or all of them isn't ready to get on or off the roost bar yet. Maybe the roost bar is high for the babies? Maybe a ramp would help?

Thank you! The ramp is still in place from when we built it for Koutsi, and each step is about as high as the log, something they can fly on very easily. Maybe the problem is that Cruella has never used the ramp in her life and is scared of it

I think you nailed it! If Cruella has never used it, she is unsure of it to be safe for her babies. Are they still sleeping in the nest? Eventually as they all grow they will instinctively seek higher ground and will try out the area you made for Koutsi. Momma knows best!

They're still sleeping in the nest. Each time more apprehensive than they were last time. I hope Cruella takes them up there soon enough, they're two weeks old today :wee !!!
