LGBTQ+ Poultry Keepers

I honestly think people overreact when it comes to how much extra heat they need. It's not something I've had to worry about much (because Greece). We get about two to three weeks a year where the temps get iffy, and after discussing it with some other serama owners, we settled that some tarps would be more than enough
You are right there, people do overreact with temps and their birds. Too many people baby them at first and then of course the birds can't deal with cold temps so they assume the breed is naturally that way. Poultry adapt to their environment for the most part of given time and the opportunity.

Where do they come from? Are they in certain environments? Ive never seen one.
Back in moister climates (so like anywhere with a normal lawn), they were under big rocks. As a kid I would over turn the rocks and find them all over.
