LGBTQ+ Poultry Keepers

I know. No bracers either except for archers. The women of the country this knight is from have the same armor as the male counterparts.

Thankfully this is the only country for this book at least, that I have to worry about utility and not looks

The first little girl that hatched, her sister is still in the incubator.

And Taggart who's never seen chicks up close before. Who I just had to hollar at and scold quite a bit because I walked away for five seconds and he had his head COMPLETELY in the brooder bothering her! After I specifically told him several times to leave the brooder alone... Thankfully she's fine just a little shocked and a wet spot on her head from his nose...

And as I'm typing this! Someone else in the incubator is working on externally pipping! They're a little close to the sibling that's gotta stay in the incubator but I'll make sure nobody runs into her too much.

Adorable! Looks like a wet velociraptor :love

My passed dog adored chicks. She thought she was their mama

Quick tip: make yourself a costume that would be about the same restrictions as the armor. Then go waving about a tool that is about the size and weight of your character’s weapon. If you have your heart set on the costume, this is a great way to understand how your character would feel in the costume.

I'm a sucker for armor bikinis. Plus it's a fantasy book. And this country is the only one with any current characters in it that metal and leather armor is even feasible for the entire body. The other two countries would cook people stupid enough to put themselves in full armor and fight.

I still might make this character an armor bikini though in the drawings. I think he'd rock it.

In a not unrelated note, anyone happen to know the social workings of meerkat and hyena hierarchies and groups?

I make less than 16 bucks an hour. I can't afford to do that with every outfit, especially ones I'm not going to dress up in for pictures. Hence why I watch videos and movies with similar styles.

Cute! ♥️ Best wishes with your hatch!

Not so much the meerkats, but I do know a bit about hyenas. They are matriarchal for one, and the females' genitals confused scientists for years!

From what I know, they are ruled by a matriarch. I know a tad more about hyenas, where there is the alpha female, and all the males rank below the lowest ranking female. The offspring of every female automatically has her rank (or at least until maturity). I think meerkats work slightly differently, with possibly only the matriarch producing offspring that all the other females are tasked with raising
