New cockerel decided to give me a scare last night while I was locking everyone up. He found the perfect hiding spot and I was freaking out thinking the raccoon found a way to get to him.
I ended up finding him after searching for 20 minutes.

After being in the mid-high 20s at night these past few days, I'll be glad for the high 30s we're getting.

I hate to admit it but I think at least until spring, I'll be keeping the flock this small. Since I only make money through Uber Eats, making sure I can afford their feed is important at the moment.
So it's just going to be staying 4 ducks, 3 hens, and 1 cockerel for now.

Earlier this morning, I decided to open up the coop to let the birds out if they wanted to come out.
Well...
Corporal, the new cockerel, decided to almost turn himself into a popsicle by standing in a puddle while it was 28 degrees
He's currently inside enjoying an egg after drinking Nutri-Drench. I managed to get him warmed back up slowly.
