I really love your Opuntia ficus-indica barbary fig (or whatever it is.) I've seen huge ones and I am super jealous! I think they are so cool--would love to have the street cred of one of those in my front yard.You're too kind.

If you're not looking to add more potted cacti, maybe you could do her a little outdoor cacti and/or hardy succulent garden? I thought the Houston Botanical garden had a pretty nice outdoor display. (There are some neat Mangave in Part 1.) (That Opuntia cochenillifera paired with whatever golden barrel-looking ones they planted there are just outstanding, I think.)
I'm not saying you should shop here, but there's a site called "Cold Hardy Cactus" that that seems to sell primarily that that might be good to browse.
Anyways, looking forward to hear what you decide on or narrow it down to!
