Just finished the shadowhunters. Now I need to know how the books end, I hope a little better

Can you put eggshells in there ro give them calcium? Thats what spomenpeople do for aquarium snails

Yes, some snails aren't keen on them though. Most snail keepers prefer to use cuttlefish bones, but personally I use milled oyster shells which they LOVE. I saw a big improvement in shell growth in the youngsters once I made that swap. Ultimately though it doesn't matter how much they have, they always hitchhike and rasp away at adult shells lol

How's the show end?

Basically the angels took away Clary's memories of the shadow world, her ability to create runes, and all of her runes, making her a mundane. Then, after a year Jace was looking at her while she was at an art gallery and she could see him. Then Jace ran away and Clary followed him and remembered his name, and then noticed his "tattoos" and then they just started at eachother smiling. While it's not necessarily a bad ending, I'd like to know if she goes back to regain her runes and become a shadowhunter again

Pretty sure that's kinda how it ends in the books too. It's been like 8 years though since I last read it.

With her bumping into Jace. Then it goes back a day or so until they end up back to the scene where she meets Jace and follows him into the club

Okay. The beginning is kinda similar in that they both go to a club. But in the books, the first time she meets Jace is when she sees him follow another guy to an employee's only room and sees him attacking the other guy with a knife. I think Isabelle is there as well

Lol! I always wished he'd grow bigger, as I say he was a runt. He should've been twice the size for his breed

Snails have lots of runts, they grow very slowly and usually die very young. People often sell the runts, instead of culling them, and those runts breed (usually with siblings) producing more runts. Until eventually the entire breed is bad quality. Take Achatina fulica for example, they were kept in schools etc and inbred so much, no one culled the bad ones (keep in mind they can have hundreds of babies) so now most fulica you buy will be unhealthy. There's only a couple of breeders that I trust, and they're usually F1 babies.

Kupa was a fulica, should have grown twice the size and lived twice as long, but because he's from an irresponsible breeder, that didn't happen.
Aside from the massive amount of runts and inbreeding, they can also have shell defects

This can be applied to many animals, especially with backyard poultry keepers. I've found the size and quality of some of my muscovy to be very... lacking. People get related chicks, they breed, their chicks breed together, etc.

I'm trying to get all unrelated stock, now, to improve my livestock.

I apologise for the snail spam, this little guy just crawled out of the dirt and I thought I should get a size reference to show you all

The little guy is on "mum" or "dad", Daisy.
(Idk which role she decided to play, snails are both sexes.)
