Actually I’m a bit nervous about reporting this thread in particular as BYC mods who have supported me on this thread had previously taken down my other LGBT threads because it was “starting drama” and “political discussion.” I don’t want to really bring it to their attention if I can help it. Is there a particular moderator you folks think I should message directly? I don’t want whoever answers the report to be the One Homophobic Mod and take the thread down.

Give me a moment to try and find the mod that's been pretty cool about this thread. You can always pm them and ask if they can change it and express your concern for reporting it too.

We've had really strong mod support here lately. They put the thread on hold and clean it up for us whenever we get someone causing trouble.
