i built a little box thingy for my quail as a practice build! im not sure if its too big or too small though, its like a square foot and a few inches tall. i may use it to hold grit after i get a chance to sand and seal it? i prefer building out of scrap wood than buying bowls/feeders for grit, oyster shell, etc

australorps may be years unfortunately, getting the zoning laws changed is taking a while. im hoping to convert the quail aviary into a chicken coop in a few years after the quail have lived long and happy lives. of course, if theres only one left i may have to try my hand at chicks because theyre so darn cute and i cant leave a quail alone...

Oh I should say. I'm having zero luck finding any aseel or aseel eggs, but I have come across MANY true araucana egg offers, and I'm thinking about it
