The whole idea of this is creating a place where lgbt+ people can feel safe and good about themselves and escape the daily struggle of dealing with people who refuse to acknowledge their views, and then berate them. Some people in this country's history have been more oppressed. Failing to recognize that is a huge problem. It's not our job to teach people what they don't know. However we do try, and when we do it's called arrogant...

Do you think everyone has an even start? The same opportunities? The same protection under the law? It's just not true.

I firmly believe that in the USA, everyone has the same opportunities. Matter of fact there has been about 55 years where certain groups of people have been given EXTRA opportunities...and sadly not taken advantage of them. But overall the great experiment called the Greatest Republic ever has worked better than any other nation's experiments.

has anyone here refused to acknowledge your views? I do recognize lots of groups have been treated unfairly/criminally in the past. But if you can't have everyone at the table,the conversation will always be lacking something. Just my opinion--

Yes. You disregarded the struggles LGBT+ people have had in the past. This is not a place for you to go and talk about your problems on. You never even said why you joined this thread. You instead yelled at us on our own thread. Now, if you are more interested in talking about your community I would suggest you start your own thread. And, we aren’t close friends. I personally don’t like you too much after everything you have done.

I explained twice why I joined this thread. Chicken knowledge and info. I never yelled at anyone, I was very polite, very civil and offered an alternative view. I spoke about Freedom multiple times. My community is Self Sufficiency Homesteading; Gardening, Hunting, Chickens, Shooting, Logging, Building, Canning, Whisky Drinking, Music listening and loving my wife.

What is wrong with that?

Government should not be in the business of sanctioning marriage. In my Freedom World, you can marry whomever you choose. Government has no say as far as I'm concerned. Does this clear up my stance on marriage?

You’ve said a lot of things that could easily be seen as offensive... even if you didn’t mean it that way.
