Don't forget all the mammals! Giraffes are notorious for this, and elephants. And so many more. It's normal, it's natural, it happens.

I'm in rhe "humans have a higher brain function" camp. Maybe life maters are in-between? But I think it's more of a 'who's avaliable when I've got the need to breed'issue with most animalsIdk what you guys think about the topic. But I think I am a believer that animals can be gay. I don't see why they couldn't be, we're essentially animals too
But their situations are very different to ours, so I'm not sure we'd pick up on it if they were. Many animals don't get a choice in mating/reproducing, so we'd never know- but in situations where animals mate for life, I'm fairly certain there have been documented cases and observations of same sex birds etc. I may be wrong, I'm trying to recall an article I read a long time ago
Sorry to hear this. Yeah, that would be a bummer.Got a cat in hospice right now. I'm the first person home, so if he dies during the day, I'll be the one to find him, and he stays in my room most bights to keep him warm, so if he dies during the night, I'm most likely the one who will find him.
That's unfortunate but also fuels my theory! LolI was once given a cockatiel, that was supposed to be a breeder, because he preferred the other males. So yes.
Yeah, I know. We all feel bad because this cat chose this last week out of 11 years to not be a butthole.Sorry to hear this. Yeah, that would be a bummer.
But remember, he needs you and your love and support.
He lived a long and happy life, and we were very sad when he died of old age. That's unfortunate but also fuels my theory! Lol
Sounds like a cat, yes.Yeah, I know. We all feel bad because this cat chose this last week out of 11 years to not be a butthole.
