Don't be. I'm getting them because I can't get any more chickens. I have to cull my chickens or leave them when I move, but I can bring my ducks.

How come you can't have chickens when you move?

No, roaches are much scarier! I still have PTSD from a roach attack

They're neat, I just don't really do most bugs anymore ever since I was having bug issues with my dragon's crickets.

Are they German or Madagascar?

Dubia, common feeder ones, got them in the mail
I wanted fancier kinds but also some have super long lifespans.

Yeah. Most of mine are vaccinated, so I've only lost 4 (5 this weekend), but they're all carriers now, even if they never show symptoms.

Locusts hurt when they bite too. Really painful. Not sure about roaches, but I've experienced the locusts. We get them every year
