I appreciate the thought. After the mareks issue from a smaller breeder/hatchery, I'm just sticking commercial for now with everyone i cant see in person. I might go to a poultry swap this summer if we have one and see if anyone has different muscovy colors that I think will be okay to bring in

I know the feeling. Bought three silkies from a small hatchery this year, all dead with some kind of disease within a week. Thankfully all my other birds were not affected

Did you include the almost purely for the pea combs ? But I agree I don't like the level of crazy hair polish have, I prefer a small crest

Buff (specifically) Orpingtons. Australorps. Malays, Rosecomb bantams, just super common breeds usually.
