I did that with the very first egg I got. I left the shell plain, though. It sits in a little sugar bowl my grandmother gave me. Two nice mementos together.Another thing we do is poke little holes in the ends and blow out the content, and then decorate the empty shells.
DANG! Wish I'd thought of that for mine last year!!!I did that with the very first egg I got. I left the shell plain, though. It sits in a little sugar bowl my grandmother gave me. Two nice mementos together.
It's not overly difficult. Use a large needle, and tap it at the end of the shell. I usually make the one on the wide end a bit bigger, so the contents come out more easily. Also, once a hole is poked, stick that needle in there to break the yolk. Nothing gives you a headache like straining to blow a full yolk out of a tiny hole!Yall have given me ideas about what to do with my first Cruella and Ursula eggs now! I will not be blamed for the million eggs I waste in the process though(because if you hadn't already gathered by my sporadic posts, I'm also very clumsy!)
I'm new and queer! I have two runner ducks, my first, they're about 3 weeks old!
