Go for Clear Quartz. Hold it and put in positive thoughts and energies, thinking of chickens sitting on eggs, hatching them, little peepers following mom around. Then place it in the nest box and hope the hen doesn't eat it!

My research (after the you know incident) also said rose quartz and moonstone. I was thinking of placing it on a shelf in the pen so that the birds wouldn't be able to reach it, is it not good enough?

Oh I just remembered my nests in the main coop are 1/3 filled with dirt, if I burry the crystals in there, wouldn't it like, supercharge it?

Just make sure they're not so small that they're eaten. That would take some SERIOUS cleansing after use!
