I wanted to keep it shorter and still be inclusive.

I wanted to keep it shorter and still be inclusive. The Q encompasses all. I can ask about adding the extra two letters if folks want, though. I just didn’t want it to be too much of mouthful. I do feel bad that I may be unintentionally excluding the Intersex and Asexual/Aromantic members of our thread

I'm sure they will feel included despite that! Hopefully. In my view the + shows we're including the other members of the community

Yeah, if I put every identity into the acronym we’d be here all day. Very much why I prefer the term Queer. But I don’t want people to get confused and think we are just “weird poultry keepers!” Also a lot of folks really don’t want to identify with that word since it was and still is a slur and many have trauma associated with it.

We re-appropriated it and made it a positive aspect of our community.

But you're right, we'd end up with more letters than the Greek alphabet!
