I don’t let my bird sit on me at all

I have that happen with my cats

Mine as well, Minou also tries to bite me when she is very cuddly. Cats are painful

My birds are held when I am standing, but not when I'm sitting.

I'll sometimes be sitting when I hold my birds. Some of the juveniles like to come over to visit.

I sit with all the juveniles. I sit with the adults, but none take me up on the offer of sitting on my lap, so we're good there. The arms are where both adult and baby birds are allowed to be, though it does get gross at times and I'll be sitting in my bathroom in the sink cleaning all the poop off
