What do we think?
Yay or Nay? Be honest. Yall won't hurt my feelings

I like it. And vertical stripes are slimming (not that you need it. Me, on the other hand... lol!)
Yeah, I avoid horizontal stripes for that reason.

I think I like my squared one a bit more, but I'll probably bring both with me on my trip. At this rate, I'll have a rainbow shirt for every day I'm there 🤣

Might get the dress if it's in stock when I go that way next. I did like it a fair amount.

Good news and bad news from me.
Good news is I found where my ducks started laying. The heat wave we got a few weeks ago caused them to take a break so I'm happy to know that they've started to lay again!

Bad news... is I'm down to 5 chicks and 1 male duckling. I gave all of them some nutri-drench directly.
So sorry about the babies! Something is definitely affecting them and causing the deaths.

Is your brooder in the same spot it had been before? What kind of bedding are you using? Since you're going through a heat wave, do they have a shady spot where it's much cooler?

Just tossing out ideas.

The brooder is in the main flock's coop. There's never been an issue putting day old chicks in there before.
I use different bedding when I clean it out every few days. When I first put chicks in, I use Dry Den bedding pellets as that is what Wilco uses for their chicks. When I first clean it, I replace with pine shavings(if I have any) or Easy Pick micro fir shavings. When I have to clean for a final time, I replace with Dry Den again.

Currently we've only had days under 69F. We just got our first hot day yesterday with 73F.
Today it's going to get up to around 83F but it's currently at 76F so I took them out to the brooder yard where there's a small sun spot if they want to keep warm. It gets super hot in that little sun spot so I'll keep checking on them until around 4:30pm when I move them back into the brooder before work.
I only moved them out because the coop gets warmer than outside and I've had bad luck in the past keeping day/week old chicks inside during hot days even with plenty of cool spots & water.

They're currently running around the yard acting like nothing is wrong.
