any advice with training them to it? I thought you could still put them in a enclosure with it, didn’t think training them to it was very complicatedNot the most intelligent of animals, lol! Yeah, you need to train them to the fence before releasing them into an enclosure with one. It's worse with pigs if they haven't been trained yet!
I'm not sure apart from keeping them sheared. Otherwise they won't feel it unless it's on their nose, ears or feetany advice with training them to it? I thought you could still put them in a enclosure with it, didn’t think training them to it was very complicated![]()
Combination of both types of fences, with the electric on the inside so when they get too close they learn that they get zapped, but without being able to bolt through.any advice with training them to it? I see a lot of people who keep none sheared sheep in electric fencing, I am getting really confused with electric fencing. The Sheep are to young to shear anywayI'm not sure apart from keeping them sheared. Otherwise they won't feel it unless it's on their nose, ears or feet
If they are that young, you may want to keep them in a smaller enclosure within the larger (temporary fencing and shelter) until they learn that this is now home. Just takes a few days.I see a lot of people who keep none sheared sheep in electric fencing, I am getting really confused with electric fencing. The Sheep are to young to shear anyway
Busy building the enclosure because in all my research nothing said the electric fence wouldn’t workIf they are that young, you may want to keep them in a smaller enclosure within the larger (temporary fencing and shelter) until they learn that this is now home. Just takes a few days.
