Will do. Also checked air cells on the eggs. They seem to be on the pointy side. Should I set them and leave the turner off so that the air cells get attached to the right side and avoid any detached air cells? I dont know how Cruella will be, i don't even know if she'll commit this time round. External or internal pip?

External for me. I try not to candle at lockdown so I'm never aware of the internal pip unless I happen to be listening for one

The 3 day old eggs might be saveable.

Definitely, let them rest for 3 or 4 days and see how they do. And remember, you don't have to set a bunch of eggs, even a few is a good start and learning experience. My first hatch wasn't the best, each hatch you get better at it. Before you know it, you're an old pro!

An egg carton is the perfect place to store eggs. Give them a twist and tilt a couple times a day to keep the yolk from sticking anywhere.

I will add though that depending on egg amount of the hen and incubator, they can always be moved at lock down too, it doesn't have to wait until they pip. I just know some of my Pickler hens take pipped eggs easier than hatched chicks

The worst thing is that they are all Kolovos eggs, who is on borrowed time as you know. So I have to set everything as fast as possible before the summer really kicks in

Dang... I miss going to FiberFest in Michigan. Yeah I could find out when it is and go, but I know I'd buy a lot of stuff, and it would sit around and nothing would happen.

I need to get my wheel out, true it up, and start spinning again.

I only knit 2/3 of one hat this last winter! It was going to be The Winter I Use Up My Stash... uh... nope...

Oh! I got my first skein of yarn done too earlier this week. Forgot to post it.

Have you looked at a knitting machine? They're expensive, but it took mom like 2 hours (Maybe. Might be exaggerated) to make a hat with a simple pattern.

Haven't measured the length yet though. Apparently I spin pretty thin for my first time.

Lots of frustration and tears on my end in the beginning. I have a very hard time connecting mentally to my legs, and a decently hard time doing multiple things at once with my hands, so I could get I a rhythm doing the treading and spinning until I had to adjust the tensions or find the end when my fiber broke or switching hooks. Then it was a struggle to reset the treadle going while doing one of the above while also handling the fiber that was currently trying to spin.

Plying was much easier for me
