OK so this is not something I expected to see at all. I went near Cruella's nest to drop some meat near it, and this is what I found

. It smelled terribly, so it wasn't ever viable, and I have no doubt in my mind that she did this intentionally

Right?! Not in a million years would I have imagined that a pullet this young and inexperienced would've done something like this. She's shaping up to be an awesome broody. Side note, I have smelled enough rotten eggs🥲
 
They love to go around and peck at anything dark on me. If I'm wearing shorts and happen to have scabs on my legs (which I usually do), I get pecked!

Mine never do this! Maybe they don't like me enough🤔. The aseel chicks have done it, but I always attributed it to them being meat loving dinosaurs

Most broodies have built in instincts for this sort of thing. They know more than we give them credit for. Good job Cruella!!
